Are your facilitation sessions active and collaborative?

Facilitation is a skill built on proven principles and tools, passion, and a desire to build engagement from all participants.  When it is used effectively it can be a powerful vehicle for collaboration and change.

In this session, Dr. David Innis, Interim President & CEO of Align Capital Region, will demonstrate how using the power of facilitated collaboration can effect transformational change.

During this session, you’ll:

  • Experience a unique facilitation model based on designed thinking.
  • Explore techniques for engaging participants no matter how reserved they are initially.
  • Learn how to initiate action-oriented collaborative conversations among participants.
  • Practice how a well-facilitated conversation builds connections between those with widely divergent backgrounds.

Dr. David Inniss is Align Capital Region’s Interim President & CEO.  David completed his undergraduate degree in Computer Science at The United States Military Academy (WestPoint), where he graduated as a Distinguished Cadet in the Class of 1999. He holds a Master’s in Business Administration and a doctorate in Education Leadership and Management. Dr. Inniss has a passion for community and servant leadership and uses a proven facilitation model to align public and private resources to advance positive collaborative outcomes.
